Do you love Disney dining and want to save some money on it? Tables in Wonderland is a great way to save money on Disney Dining if you are a Florida resident, DVC member, or a Disney World Annual Passholder. Let’s take a look at what it is and how it can save you money!

What is Tables in Wonderland?

Tables in Wonderland is a paid membership program that offers discounts on dining and offers exclusive dining experiences for you to enjoy!

Tables in Wonderland Discounts

  • A 20% discount offered on food and beverage, including alcohol, at over 100 participating restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort (discount is valid for a party of up to 10 Guests including the member)
  • Complimentary Resort valet and theme park parking for dining purposes. Theme park parking is for dining only and does not include the whole day.

Tables in Wonderland (TiW) members do not receive discounts on dining packages, dessert parties, or special dining events.

The membership automatically adds an 18% gratuity. To me, since Disney always offers exceptional service, this doesn’t matter. I usually tip more than 20%.

How Much Does Tables in Wonderland Cost?

Tables in Wonderland (TiW) costs $175 for Florida residents, $150 for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members. If your spouse/partner also has a card, it costs just $50 more.

To purchase a Membership, you need to visit Guest Relations at any of the four Walt Disney World theme parks or at Disney Springs. Florida Residents and Annual Passholders may also purchase by phone by calling (407) 566-5858 though you do need to wait for the card to be delivered before using it.

Is Tables in Wonderland Worth the Cost?

The membership includes a 20% discount at over 100 Disney Dining restaurants including a few quick service locations for an entire year. The list change often, so check the official Disney Website for the current list.

For some families, it is very well worth the cost. For example, a family of four dining at Chef Mickey’s for dinner can run you about $240 depending on the time of year. Having the TiW membership saves you $48. Do more than 4 Disney table service meals a year then the membership pays for itself. It is great for families who do a lot of character dining, Disney buffets, and signature dining.

If you do a lot of quick service dining only and/or bring food into the park often this may not save you any money. If you are choosing to dine during the membership block out dates, the savings just might not be there for you as well. Take a look at how much dining you are going to be doing and calculate how much the membership may save you.

Not only do you get discounts at restaurants, but you can also get access to special events. The events are quite pricey so I don’t really want to include that in my assessment.
