Thank you for sharing!

We are just about one year away from the opening of Star Wars Land in Hollywood Studios. If you want to know everything there is to know about this new land, this post will give you all the details released so far. Here is everything we know about Star Wars Land so far!

Post Updated- 11/26/2018

Here is a breakdown of what is going to be part of the land. A couple of the changes happen this year!!

Star War’s Galaxy’s Edge

The expected new thematic area will open in late 2019, both at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and at Disneyland Park in California, and will include the creation of a complete fleet of X-Wing fighters and a life-size replica of the Millennium Falcon. The totally immersive land will include two amazing attractions that will allow visitors to have control over their experiences. An attraction will put them in the middle of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance, within a Star Destroyer. In the second attraction, visitors will have the opportunity to fly the Millennium Falcon, the most famous ship in the galaxy.

Throughout the land, visitors will also have the opportunity to interact with Chewie, the adorable BB8 and members of the First Order, as well as explore a toy store in the street market of Toydarian, one of the creatures of Star Wars : The Phantom Menace.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

New Ride! Guests can take the controls in one of three unique and critical roles aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.

From a new Star Tours adventure to Star Wars Launch Bay, from a new Jedi Training Academy to “Season of the Force,” soon guests will be part of both new and enhanced experiences at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.

Star Tours – The Adventures Continue

Discover a thrilling new journey to the farthest reaches of space and found land unexpectedly on a planet in the outer rim of the Star Wars galaxy – a planet known to C-3PO, and now to us, as Batuu.

This remote outpost on the galaxy’s edge was once a busy crossroads along the old sub-lightspeed trade routes, but its prominence was bypassed by the rise of hyperspace travel. Now home to those who prefer to stay out of the mainstream, it has become a thriving port for smugglers, rogue traders, and adventurers traveling between the frontier and uncharted space. It’s also a convenient safe haven for those intent on avoiding the expanding reach of the First Order. While Batuu may be new to us, it is clearly already familiar to many characters from the Star Wars saga as a stepping off point for epic adventures.

Star Wars Launch Bay

This interactive experience takes guests into the upcoming film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, with special exhibits and peeks behind-the-scenes, including opportunities to visit with new and favorite Star Wars characters, special merchandise and food offerings.  Also at Disneyland park, Star Wars Launch Bay will share the space with the reimagined Super Hero HQ, featuring opportunities to meet and take photos with superheroes like Captain America and Thor, as well as experience the returning Iron Man Tech Presented by Stark Industries. Both experiences will be available for guests later this year.

Jedi Training Academy

A favorite of younger fans is reimagined with a new experience that includes new characters and a new villain to battle from the popular Disney XD series “Star Wars Rebels.”

Season of the Force

This new seasonal event, beginning in early 2016, brings new experiences to both coasts.  In Tomorrowland at Disneyland park, guests will explore the Star Wars galaxy with special entertainment throughout the land, themed food locations and more. Guests also will be thrilled to climb aboard Hyperspace Mountain, a reimagining of the classic Space Mountain attraction, in which guests will join an X-wing Starfighter battle. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests will close out weekend nights with a new fireworks spectacular set to the iconic score of the Star Wars movies.

Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Dining

No self-respecting remote outpost on the edge of the galaxy would call itself a smuggler’s planet without a cantina, and Black Spire Outpost is no exception.

Oga’s Cantina

Visitors come to this notorious local watering hole to unwind, conduct shady business, and maybe even encounter a friend…or a foe. Run by an intriguing alien proprietor, Oga Garra, the cantina adheres to a strict code of conduct that tries to keep its unruly patrons in check. But with a history of being a smugglers’ safe haven and a popular stopping point for those seeking to avoid the authorities, you can bet that the cantina has a story or two to tell.

Oga’s Cantina is the kind of establishment that attracts some of the most interesting and disreputable characters in the galaxy. And you never know when a stormtrooper or a familiar face will show up. Patrons of the cantina come from across the galaxy to sample the famous concoctions created with exotic ingredients using “otherworldly” methods, served in unique vessels. With choices for kids and libations for adults, the cantina will make for a great stop!

Musical entertainment is provided courtesy of RX-24, the former StarSpeeder 3000 pilot droid we first met in Star Tours, who has re-envisioned himself as the cantina’s DJ. As quirky and talkative as ever, he’s still trying to do his best on the job.

You will be able to listen to some unique music, taste the best drinks in the galaxy, and surround yourself with a colorful cast of characters. You never know what will happen at the cantina!
