I have been a fan of Sign, Sealed, Delivered for awhile. It is such a great family-friendly TV show. There is also Signed, Sealed, Delivered for Christmas, which I have yet to see. It seems like Hallmark Channel has stopped producing Signed, Sealed, Delivered as a weekly TV show. That makes me sad, but these movies have totally made up for it.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered: From Paris with Love

I had the privilege of previewing Signed, Sealed, Delivered: From Paris with Love thanks to Grace Hill Media and The Tampa Bay Bloggers. Primetime television veteran Poppy Montgomery (“Without a Trace”) guest-stars alongside returning stars Eric Mabius (“Ugly Betty”), Kristin Booth (“The Kennedys”), Crystal Lowe (“Smallville”) and Geoff Gustafson (“The Interview”). Signed, Sealed, Delivered: From Paris with Love is another great showcase of this series. Actually this movie answers quite a few questions that you may of had from watching the show while it was a series. We learn more about Oliver O’ Toole and his relationship with his wife. Their back story is quite romantic and you can see why Oliver has hoped that Holly would someday return. If you haven’t seen the show, you can still enjoy this movie because it shows important back story clips that will catch you up.

Unlike the TV series, this episode kind of focused on the interpersonal relationships between the Dead Letter Office workers rather than the mystery of the dead letter. There is a dead letter mystery still and the crew works on that case, but it is not really the main focus of the story. Plus, there is a second dead letter that spins the events of this movie into motion.

What I loved best about this movie is that you think you know how the story is going to unfold and then a couple curve balls are thrown and you are left wondering. I also love that Christian principles of forgiveness, propriety, and pureness are part of the story. It is completely possible to show a modern day romance without sex and Signed, Sealed, Delivered proves it!
