Resort hopping is something you can do at Disney on a non-park day. The resorts have so much to offer and a lot of it is free! One of my favorite resort hopping activities is Cinderella’s Princess Promenade at the Grand Floridian Resort.

Princess Promenade

Lady Rose makes an announcement close to 3:30 that the Princess Promenade is about to begin. Children aged 3-12 are invited to the second floor of the Grand Floridian to join Cinderella as she walks down the grand staircase.

Then Cinderella and Prince Charming waltz to “So This is Love”. You can download the single for under $2 and practice dancing the waltz at home before you go! Lady Rose invites all to pick a partner and to do the same. It is such a sweet time. After a minute or two Cinderella and Prince Charming split and walk around to visit with the little ones.

This is not an autograph or even a photo opportunity, just a sweet memory for kids and adults alike. There is a photopass photographer around so a few pictures do get taken, but there is not an official meet & greet.

Be sure to add the Princess Promenade to your resort hopping itinerary!
