One of my favorite things to do at the parks is to people watch. I love seeing people of all ages experience magical moments while at Disney. One thing I always notice is the cute dresses, shirts, and outfits people wear at Disney. Disney is the best place to show off your #DisneySide fashion. I love seeing little ones dressed in handmade or boutique clothes that no one else is wearing. My friend, Kim, from FiFi Ruffles just designed the most adorable little girl’s Mouse inspired dress! One of my favorite features about the dress is the Mickey Head cutout in the back- I haven’t seen a dress like that before!
Here is a little bit about Kim, her daughter, and her love for Disney!
From an early age I remember Mickey Mouse being this magical character to me, not just a cartoon character. How cliche right, but it’s true! I remember being so jealous of a childhood friend and all the Mickey toys and dolls she possesed. Oh, let’s not forget the (now vintage) telephone she was allowed to keep in her room. You know, the ones that had a rotary dial on them?!
As a child with five siblings a Disney Trip from Vermont to Orlando was not the highest priority on our family’s budget. Finally in 1997, My son and I joined the rest of the family and some friends on our first trip to Disneyworld. Boy, it was an LONG adventure getting there! I was amazed and a little overwhelmed visiting for the first time. Magic Kingdom is just what it sounds, magical! The Castle of course was stunning, all of the impeccably manicured lawns and shrubbery and those sneaky little Mickey Heads hiding in every nook n’ cranny!
Since then, I have visited countless times thanks to living so near (St Pete, FL). Last year we brought our toddler daughter and nephew to Magic Kingdom. She (FiFi) was only two then, we were a little apprehensive..however the trip went wonderfully! Her father, I and of course FiFi, just fell in love with the park. The visit reminded me of the magic and excitement I felt as a child when dreaming Disney. Our daughter asked if we could back daily for about two weeks after-Can you blame her?
Since that visit, FiFi has become a fond fan of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and now knows all of the names of the characters. Whenever the “Hot Dog” dance comes on, we both stop what we are doing and starting dancing in the living. She loves it, dancing and squealing the entire time. I’m still trying to master Goofy’s move but I don’t think that will happen anytime soon!
Here is the cute dress she designed!
