I was at the thrift store and found this adorable Disney Recipe book called The Magic Kitchen Cookbook– Good Food that’s Fun to Make! I paid just $1 for the book. Here is one of the recipes in the book. The book is really great for kids because it gives healthy tips, cooking basics, fitness, food, and recipe logs. Each page is beautifully illustrated with the characters we all love. You can find the book on Amazon.
My husband and I made all 3 flavors listed. We liked the Parmesan Ranch and Chocolate Cinnamon the best. The book uses the 100 calorie microwave popcorn bags. I personally air pop my popcorn. Basically for every 5-6 cups of popcorn use 2 TBL of seasoning.
Here are the recipes:
- Cinnamon- Chocolate Recipe: Put one 4-serving size package sugar-free fat-free chocolate-flavored instant pudding and pie filly mix and 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon in a small bowl. Stir with a spoon to mix. Cover with lid and seal tightly. Store at room temperature for up to 6 months. Makes about 6 tablespoons.
- Parmesan-Ranch Recipe: Put 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese and 1 envelope Ranch salad dressing mix in a small bowl. Stir with a spoon to mix. Pour the mixture into a container and seal tightly. Store in the fridge for up to 6 months. Makes 1/2 cup.
- Pizza Seasoning: Put 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and 2 tablespoons dried Italian seasoning in a small bowl. Stir with a spoon to mix. Pour the mixture into a container and seal tightly. Store in the fridge for up to 6 months. Makes 10 tablespoons.
