Madison Reed Hair Color Review
For the Rock Your #DisneySide party, I dyed my hair red. You could barely tell though because the color didn’t take to my hair. I believe that mainly because I didn’t get it done professionally or used professional products. I had the chance to review Madison Reed Hair Color and I jumped at the chance. Madison Reed Hair Color did a great job on my hair!
First, I was very impressed with the packaging. It is not a small box like store bought dyes. The box was large and included quite a bit in the kit. The kit comes with excellent directions printed right on the box and includes 2 pairs of gloves, a cap, barrier cream, cleansing wipe, the hair color, shampoo, and conditioner.
Second, I was very impressed by the directions. They were very well written and easy to follow. While you are waiting you can use your smartphone to get a surprise. I followed the directions, but still had a few hiccups that were my fault. When I was putting the color into the applicator bottle, the top of the color tube broke open. I was able to get it all in but it was a little tricky. I followed the directions for shaking the dye mixture for the allotted time, but it needs to be shaken longer than 20 seconds I believe. It kept clumping up the applicator. Other than the 2 hiccups everything went along great.
I used the shampoo and it has a pretty smell to it, but not one I could handle.
Here are my results:
Another thing I like about Madison Reed is that you can auto order it and your color will be shipped as often as you choose. I always seem to forget to purchase my hair color and then don’t have it available when I need to retouch my roots. Though this hair color costs a bit more than the drugstore varieties, I think it outperformed my usual brand. Madison Reed has professionals who can help you choose your color or give you tips along the way.
