Lilla Rose Clip Review

Thank you for sharing!

Disclaimer: I received this Lilla Rose hair clip for free to review. I was not compensated any other way. The opinions expressed are my own.

Have you ever been down to the wire financially? The owners of Lilla rose were. They couldn’t even pay their rent, but they had an idea and some supplies in the garage. After failed attempts to get noticed by retailer after retailer, they decided to go the direct sales route. So, when you buy from Lilla Rose you are buying from and supporting small business. I love supporting small business, to me that is what America thrives on.

What does Lilla Rose make? Lilla Rose makes exquisite flexi hair clips, hair sticks. Orings, hairbands, and bobby pins. They have expanded to You-pins and badge holders. Who wouldn’t want a badge holder with bling? I know I would if I had a name badge to wear!!

Lilla Rose Clip Review

I was given the chance to receive and review a Lilla Rose clip. Here is the flexi clip I got to review! I got the Fairy Aurora Borealis. The picture I took does not do the beauty of clip justice. The fairy is rather detailed and the beading is wonderfully done.

Lilla Rose Clip Review

Since I have pretty thick hair I am usually pretty leery about clips. I have never had one really stay in my hair or hold it all. Having thick hair means most clips don’t fit. I went to the Lilla Rose website and they have this awesome video showing you how to pick your size.  I choose the medium and it fits perfectly for a pony and a half-up style.  It is very comfortable and elegant to wear. That is great news to someone like me who always has to end up wearing a hair tie one a night out or formal event!

Here are some pictures of the styles I tried. I also attempted some of the other styles, but I would need a bigger clip for those.

Lilla Rose Hairstyles

Flexi Clips are offered in 7 sizes. Whether your hair is  flat, thin, medium, curly,  or full there is a size that will fit your style. Depending on your hair type and style you may need more than one size. Check out this video about sizing! After playing with the clip for awhile, I would take a large for the twists and other up-dos.

The flexi clip was easy to use. The top “bow” part of the clip is flexible and wraps around your hair while the pin underneath locks your hair in place.

Those are all great styles to accentuate the clip. I think I like the ponytail best!
