Legoland Florida Opens Duplo Valley

Thank you for sharing!

Disclaimer: I participated in a media preview of the Duplo Valley. All opinions are my own.

Legoland Florida opened up Duplo Valley at Legoland here in Florida on May 23rd, 2014. DUPLO Valley brings the LEGO ® DUPLO line of preschool building toys to life with new farm-themed attractions, an air-conditioned indoor play area and a water play area all geared to toddlers ages 2 to 5.

I had the privilege to chat with park manager, Adrian, about Duplo Valley. He shared with me all the learning opportunities the new addition has for preschoolers.  Duplo Valley helps preschoolers learn motor skills, about plant life, and about farm animals. You also can’t forget all the fun they will have while doing all of that learning!

I was pretty excited to meet one of the Lego men! He helped open up the park.

Duplo Farm is an indoor, air-conditioned play place for preschoolers. Lots of things to climb, slide down on, and run through!! It also houses a really nice baby care center. I love the private nursing rooms and the kitchen center so you can heat food, bottles, and wash up.

Want to cool off while in the Florida heat at Duplo Valley? An adorable splash pad is available for little ones to cool down.

If you get the munchies in Duplo Valley, there is a great snack place. They make the best caramel corn that is made in house and fresh everyday!

I also asked Adrian, the park manager about the future of Legoland. He said they are building a  fun, themed resort complete with character dining!! Several walls are up, so you can’t really see the construction going on, but you can see the cranes. I am excited to see what the resort looks like!

This would be such fun! I know my kids would love it! Alas, we're in Idaho, and no plans to visit Florida anytime soon- but if we get to head that way, I'll keep this in mind!

I have really wanted to take my son to Lego Land but we live in Oklahoma. I have taken him to the lego discovery center in Dallas and he really enjoyed it.

We took our boys to LegoLand in San Diego when they were little. It was a blast. The boys loved it more than Disneyland. What a fun blog post.

That looks like so much fun. Louisiana doesn't have anything close to a Lego Land for use to enjoy. We may have to see how far out of the way the one in Duplo Valley is for our Florida trip this year.
