You have been plotting, planning, and saving up for your theme park vacation for a long time. Nothing going to stop you from running around a theme park all day with your family and friends. I put my whole self into each theme park day and I’m not going to let back and muscle pain keep me from great memories with my family. Theme park days can be long, from park opening to park close I do not want to miss a moment of fun.
Begin Walking More at Home
Since most theme parks require a lot of walking I recommend “training” for your vacation and walking more than normal at least a month in advance. Start with 10 minutes and then work yourself up to longer amounts of time.
Pack Pain Relieving Essentials
Good Walking Shoes. Make sure your shoes have enough cushion and support. If you are going on a multiday trip bring more than one pair so you can alternate shoes. I got fitted for my shoes at a running store and even if you are not running a race I recommend doing the same.
Eat a Banana. Bananas have potassium which helps your muscles perform their best. You can also drink some pure coconut water. Either way, these treats will help avoid back and muscle pain, especially if you develop leg cramps.
