Hidden Mickey Button Frame Craft
You can use this cute frame to put your countdown on or hold a precious Disney memory in. This craft is appropriate for both kids and adults depending on the glue you use.
What Materials Do I Need?
- Dollar Tree Frame, I used a 5×7
- Variety of Buttons, if you don’t have a stash you can get a multipack from Amazon
- Hot Glue (for adults) Elmer’s Glue (for kids)
- Mickey Shorts Printable (if doing the countdown)
- Dry Erase Markers (if doing the countdown)

How To Make a Hidden Mickey Button Frame
Take apart the Picture Frame. Separate the glass and back from the frame. I did this in case the glue gets messy, I did not want a messy frame.

Make the Mickeys. The first thing I did was make the Mickey Heads. Mickey’s classic head shape is one larger circle with 2 smaller circle ears on the tops. I made some Mickey’s all the same color, some I made the ears different colors. I glued the ears on at this point.

Glue Random Buttons to the Frame. I found this part so relaxing. Just randomly place buttons around the frame. No rules or suggestions on this part other than to just express your creativity.
Add the Hidden Mickeys On. Randomly place your Mickeys on the frame and glue in place.

Clean Up the Frame. If you used a glue gun as I did then you will need to clean up the stray strings of glue around the frame.
Let Glue Dry. If you used Elmer’s Glue you will want the frame to dry overnight.
Reassemble Frame. Use as a picture frame or as a countdown for your next Disney vacation!

Can you find my Hidden Mickey? Another one popped up along the way and that’s ok!
