Grey's Anatomy Season 10 Episode 14 Recap & Review

***Spoiler Alert***

Does anyone remember the opening scene in the very first episode of Grey’s Anatomy? I do. It is the basis of the show basically. Meredith had what she thought was a one night stand with McDreamy who turns out to be her boss. Ten seasons later chaos ensues and in my opinion a disgruntled, heartbroken intern creates the drama we love by reporting the intra-hospital dating party and bringing it to an end. It is not the intern dumped by Avery but the one that slept with Arizona- Leah. Well, the new policy only really affects one couple or so we think at the beginning of the show.

That couple is Jo and Karev. He finally finds someone after losing Izzy that he is crazy about and just because he doesn’t want to get married ASAP his relationship can’t be shown at work. Jo and Karev fake a fight in front of the whole hospital, but later admit that it was fake after they walked in on April and Avery in the supply room. Karev basically thinks he can disregard the rule.

April and Jackson reveal their marriage at the end of the episode. I am not sure how happy I am that she chose Jackson, but it could be that I wanted my name twin to marry the EMT because my husband is becoming one. Jackson and April are cute together though and it is the only person she ever slept with, which I am sure puts her mind at ease.

It seems like Christina and Meredith are friends again. It feels natural for them to be friends. They are each others’ person. I hope they don’t ever fight again.  Christina does the unthinkable once she hears Owen wants to move in with Emma. She goes over to his place while drunk and they end up sleeping together. I think Owen is confused and messed up. First, he divorces Christina because she doesn’t want kids. Then he breaks up with Emma (after sleeping with Christina) because Emma wants to be a SAHM. He should of never divorced Christina in the first place.

The medical drama, one of the best parts of the show. I hated the season with the whole takeover thing where we hardly get any medical drama. A girl came in with a pretty messed up leg because she jumped into a trash chute. April and Jackson were her primary doctors.  The second case was of a girl who kept getting cancer after cancer. She ended up with a rare genetic disorder that Bailey found. The interns were supposed to work together to help solve the mystery and come up with an action plan but because of all their bickering they were too late. The patient died on the operating table. Shane got the interns working together though by speaking up and taking charge inspired by Dr. Weber.

So, what do you think was the best moment of this episode?
