I have recently got into The Foster’s. The show is really good. As a former foster child, I relate to Callie a lot. If you haven’t seen the show yet, it is about Callie and her brother, Jude, who are in foster care. Jude has already been adopted by the Foster’s but due to a legal technicality Callie is still waiting to be adopted. The Foster’s are a same-sex couple named Stef and Lena. Stef has a boy, Brandon, from a previous marriage. Stef and Lena also have a set of adopted twins, Jesus and Mariana. Lena is currently pregnant. The show deals a lot with teenager issues since Callie,Jude, Brandon, Jesus, and Mariana are all teenagers. The show is quite liberal in the way they deal with the teenage issues and sometimes I personally do not like how they handle them.
Next week’s episode looks really good. Callie revisits Girls United which is a group home that she was in temporarily.Callie visits Girls United and learns much has changed since she left in a new episode of “The Fosters,” airing Monday, August 4 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
Callie pays a visit to Girls United to pitch in for Community Day and is surprised by new developments at her former foster group home. Paranoid neighbors are putting pressure on the home’s landlord to kick the girls out, and a new resident has secrets that could jeopardize the safety of the entire group.
Meanwhile, Mariana and Hayley plan to cook a romantic double-date dinner for Mat and Jesus. And Stef receives a concerning letter from Ana.
The episode’s teleplay, titled “Girls Reunited,” was written by Executive Producers Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige, and the story was written by Executive Producer Joanna Johnson. The episode is directed by Daisy Mayer.
