Take a break from eating and drinking your way around the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival booths to enjoy the Eat to the Beat Concert series. Every year Epcot has this non-additional cost concert series and it is such fun! Here are my best Eat to the Beat Concert tips so you have a rockin’ good time!

Eat to the Beat Concert Tips

The Eat to the Beat concerts take place at the American Adventure Pavillion theater. The theater is outdoors, on the lagoon side. The theater can seat around 1,000 people. The concerts are super fun!

Eat to the Beat Concert Tips

Know the Schedule.

Disney releases the Eat to the Beat concert schedule a couple of months ahead of when the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival begins. Many groups are reoccurring but every year there are some slight variations and additions. Here is the 2019 Eat to the Beat Concert Schedule.

Get There Early.

Get there early if you want to sit during the concert and not wait in lines. Each day there are 3 shows. Shows are usually scheduled for 5:30 pm. 6:45 pm, and 8:00 pm each night. Check the Times Guide/ MDE App for exact times for the day you are going. If you go to the 5:30 pm performance you rarely need to wait in a line. I usually get there around 4:45/5:00 and have no problem getting a seat in the first section.

The 6:45 pm and 8:00 pm shows have roped off lines that start forming during the first concert time.

View from the Outside of the Theater.

If you don’t mind standing, then you can view the concert from the outside. While cast members have to make sure there’s a clear path for guest traffic, a lot of guests are able to sit around The American Adventure and still view the show. There are plenty of benches in the area or outside seating right across from the theater. The concert is outdoors so you can hear the music very well.

Go to More than One Concert Set.

The concerts are a lot of fun and the bands usually change their song set every show, so you have an opportunity to hear some new songs every time!

Above All, Have Fun!

Out of all the Eat to the Beat Concert tips, having fun is the most important thing to remember. Sing along, dance, and let loose! The artists feed off your energy and it makes for a better performance. If it is a group you loved back in the day, dig out your old t-shirts or look for a new one on a site like Hot Topic or browse eBay.  A lot of times the band goes out into the crowd and you can get selfies and really great pictures. This all depends on the performers.
