I make this for my husband’s Grandma. She is 96 so she doesn’t see much use for regular gifts but she loves chocolate.
- crushed candy canes
- 2 pounds white chocolate chips
- 1 tsp. peppermint flavoring
Place candy canes in a plastic bag and use anything like a roller or a heavy can and crush the candy canes. This is a fun way to let out some the stress of the Christmas season. Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler. Combine the candy canes and flavoring. Pour the mixture on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or wax paper. Place into the refrigerator. The hardest step of this recipe is waiting the 45 minutes until it is ready to eat. Once ready break up into pieces.
