My last trip to Disney I stayed at the Port Orleans French Quarter. Here is my review of the resort. Disney’s French quarter is a moderate resort. I am sorry missed out on getting a lot of pictures.
The Good: Rooms are beautiful. Rooms come with fridges which helped us save money at the parks because we packed our lunches from couponed items the week before. The décor is very Mardi Gras and is tasteful. I like the way the resort is laid out. No matter what room you are in you are close to the main lobby, pool, restaurant, and Disney transport. Some resorts I feel as if I would like a golf cart to get around in. This resort is not like that. We didn’t swim in the pool but it looked fun, especially for the kids.
The bad: I didn’t experience anything that I would consider negative on my stay.
- Go the quick service restaurant, order the beignets- get them fresh. If you are ordering other food items, ask them to wait on making your beignets so they will be fresh. They are awesome!
- If you are staying more than 1 one- get the refillable cup. They are worth the $15.
- Don’t forget to tip mousekeeping! I love the Mickey Mouse towel shapes. They also seem to arrange my stuffed Disney items cute on my bed.
