Downtown Disney- Wolfgang Puck Express Review

Thank you for sharing!

My husband and I were in Orlando for the Sea World Spooktacular so we just had to hop on over to Disney property even though we had just a couple hours to play.  I asked you, my readers, where we should have lunch. You said Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express. We walked into Earl of Sandwich and my husband couldn’t handle the amount of people. We then headed to Wolfgang Puck Express and the line wasn’t bad. This was around noon. We glanced at the menu and chose to split a pizza.

We ordered the Four Cheese Pesto Pizza.  It was so delicious!!! I thought it was enough for 2, my husband said he could of ate a whole by himself. The pizza had mozzarella, goat cheese, parmesan, fontina and fresh and dried tomatoes and is baked in a wood stove oven. I loved the big pieces of goat’s cheese. Yummo! Now, I have never had fontina cheese before and really couldn’t of picked it out of the flavors, so there must of not been very much. I would give the pizza 4 out of 5 stars. A good pizza, but not the best I have ever tasted. The pizza was $13.00. To make the meal super cheap we also had water, which I didn’t mind since the heat was horrible. The tropical tea they offer did sound interesting though.

Three areas are available to choose from when picking a table. You can choose a table outside, but with the high heat (90’s) I decided against that. You can also choose to dine to the main dining areas. That area had no tables so that left us only the third option, the chef’s table area. The are 2 long tables that 6-8 people per table that are right in the kitchen area. It was pretty neat to watch the chefs making the food. The smells coming out of that kitchen are amazing!!! Above our heads were pans hanging from the ceiling to give it even more of a kitchen look and feel.

We have never gone here just because we have other favorites. But this has changed my mind. I think we may need to check it out next trip. I definitely like the picture of that pesto pizza.
