How to Make a Lost Things Game

This pixie dusted scavenger hunt takes very few materials and is very cheap to make.

You will need the following items:

Bottle. A bottle with a larger mouth is the best choice so items can be a little bit bigger. I used a Gatorade bottle. Wash out the bottle and make sure it is completely dry.

Rice. Basic white rice is great to use. You can also dye the rice in different colors. If you decide to dye the rice you will need vinegar and food coloring. I got the directions for dying the rice from Happy Hooligans.

How to Assemble Tinker Bell’s Lost Things Game

  1. Put lost things into clean, dry bottle. I wouldn’t fill the bottle over 1/3 or 1/4 full with lost things.
  2. Make list of lost things.
  3. Dye rice (optional).
  4. Using a funnel, pour rice into bottle until there is about one inch of space left at the top.
  5. Attach lid. If using the game with older kids you might not need to glue the top on but I would suggest gluing the top on if playing with younger kids.
  6. Play and seek lost things!
