Cleaning the shower is one of my most hated chores. One day I want to live n a house that has a wall to wall shower so I don’t have to worry and can just squeegee the shower from top to bottom. Today I want to share with you my DIY Shower Cleaner recipe. It costs less than $3 and all the items can be found at the Dollar Tree!
DIY Shower Cleaner Recipe
- Dawn, or other dish soap (goes on sale at CVS about every 6 weeks) This week I got it for 25¢!
- white vinegar- under a $1 at Save-A-Lot.
- Sponge dish wand- I got mine at the Dollar Tree.
So the total cost is $2.25 and this will last longer than a bottle of cleaner you buy.
This is so simple. You fill the handle of the dish wand with 1/2 dawn and 1/2 vinegar. Then when are done with your shower take a few minutes and sponge down the shower. Think of the time you will save! So I tried this and I got to admit I loved it. I tolerated the smell a lot better than regular cleaners. The shower ended up very clean. It is hard to get in the corners so regular weekly cleaning will still need to happen but it will be so much easier.
