Disney’s Riverboat Ride

Thank you for sharing!

I have been to the Magic Kingdom quite a few times in the last seven months since I have gotten my annual pass. I have gone on my favorite rides several times and have had some really fun character interactions. I decided on my last trip to cross some things off of my Disney Bucket List. One item on the list was the Riverboat ride. I guess I had put it off because it does not seem as fun as other attractions or experiences. I now have to say the Riverboat ride is a hidden gem in the Magic Kingdom. It might not be something you want to do if you only have one day, but I would certainly put it on your bucket list.

The riverboat is 3 stories. You enter on the 2nd story but you must exit on the bottom floor. I was on the second story. I was in the front and had a pretty good view of the river and the cool things you discover along the way. Not much seating is available, so this is a ride where you will be standing for awhile. I would think during the summer it would be a nice way to catch some much needed shade. The ride is 10-15 minutes long and the captain tells you stories and jokes along the way. You see a whole different side of the Magic Kingdom. So many details they put into every corner of the park are seen.

This ride does not have a Fastpass and I don’t think one is needed. This ride is appropriate for all ages and disabilities.

I have never been to Disney, we are hoping to go when our son is about 4/5.

By far one of my most favorite "rides" I seriously LOVED this!

I have to admit I don't ever plan on going to Disneyland or Disney World. I really wanted to go when I was younger, but between the sky high prices and the unethical ability to purchase tickets that let you skip lines (what, exactly, is that teaching children?) has just made me abandon the notion altogether. That riverboat is absolutely beautiful, though. I've only ever been on two ferries, and that's as fancy as it has gotten for me ;)!

We didn't get to ride on the riverboat while we were at Disney as we only had 1 day to fit in everything. Needless to say we missed A LOT!

I like Disney allot, and always look forward to going there.. I did not even know there was a riverboat ride there, with everything else that is there.
