I have been to the Magic Kingdom quite a few times in the last seven months since I have gotten my annual pass. I have gone on my favorite rides several times and have had some really fun character interactions. I decided on my last trip to cross some things off of my Disney Bucket List. One item on the list was the Riverboat ride. I guess I had put it off because it does not seem as fun as other attractions or experiences. I now have to say the Riverboat ride is a hidden gem in the Magic Kingdom. It might not be something you want to do if you only have one day, but I would certainly put it on your bucket list.
Disney’s Riverboat Ride
The riverboat is 3 stories. You enter on the 2nd story but you must exit on the bottom floor. I was on the second story. I was in the front and had a pretty good view of the river and the cool things you discover along the way. Not much seating is available, so this is a ride where you will be standing for awhile. I would think during the summer it would be a nice way to catch some much needed shade. The ride is 10-15 minutes long and the captain tells you stories and jokes along the way. You see a whole different side of the Magic Kingdom. So many details they put into every corner of the park are seen.
This ride does not have a Fastpass and I don’t think one is needed. This ride is appropriate for all ages and disabilities.
