If you are staying on Disney property and not staying at the resort, it is very easy to get to. Just take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then from there you can jump on the Monorail or boat. You can also use Minnie Vans or another ride-sharing service.
If you have your car you may park at the Polynesian resort for free for your dining experience, but can not park the whole day.

Disney’s Polynesian Resort Character Dining
The Poly has one character dining experience, ‘Ohana Best Friends Breakfast. You get to meet Lilo & Stitch, Mickey Mouse, and Pluto. Breakfast hours are typically 7:30 am until noon.
Polynesian Resort Table Service Dining
‘Ohana – The restaurant reopens at 3:30 for a dinner filled with Hawaiian specialties. This is a perfect place to watch the Happily Ever fireworks show.
Kona Cafe – This café infuses a bit of Asian flavor into traditional American meals and has an onstage sushi kitchen.
The Polynesian resort has a variety of places for you to grab a drink. From the super-themed Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto to the Barefoot Pool Bar you will find what you are looking for. Other bars are the Tambu Lounge and the Oasis Bar and Grill.
Polynesian Resort Quick Service Dining
Kona Island– You can grab some of the lunch and dinner items that are offered at the Kona Cafe. Nice little spot. This is a great spot to grab some Kona coffee and a pastry on the way to the monorail.
Captain Cooks – One of the best resort quick service dining options on Disney World property. You can also get the famous Tonga toast served at the Kona Cafe at a cheaper price.

Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto – A Jungle cruise themed bar experience with tasty, fun drinks and appetizers.
Tambu Lounge – Pull up a stool at this enchanting 2nd-floor bar located right next to ‘Ohana where you’ll find tropical drinks and Hawaiian-inspired appetizers.
Barefoot Pool Bar – Resort Guest only access pool bar serving cocktails, beer, wine, smoothies, and tasty appetizers.
