Everything You Need to Know about Disney’s Magical Express

If you do not live geographically close to Disney and you fly into the Orlando International Airport (MCO)– Disney’s Magical Express is there waiting to take you to your vacation – no extra fee and no rental cars needed! It is the easiest way to get to Walt Disney World from the Orlando International Airport.
How Disney’s Magical Express Service Works
How to Book the Magical Express. When you make your Disney hotel reservation, you will be asked if you want to use Magic Express.
In order to request Magical Express service, you’ll need to have your flight information available. If you don’t have your flight info when you book your resort don’t worry Magical Express can be arranged at any point prior to your trip by visiting the WDW website Airport Transportation Page or by calling 866-599-0951 or 407-939-1936 in the United States and Canada. You should, however, be aware that in order to have Magical Express luggage tags mailed to you, you’ll need to make your ME reservation at least two weeks in advance.
Check Your Tagged Luggage In. Once you’ve reserved Disney’s Magical Express, Disney will mail you details and luggage tags approximately 2 to 3 weeks prior to your arrival. After receiving the tags, please attach them to each bag you would like Disney’s Magical Express to deliver to your Resort hotel room. Then check them into your airline as normal.
Skip Luggage Claim. Upon arrival in Orlando, guests bypass airport baggage claim and go directly to the Disney Airport Welcome Center. Disney takes care of gathering your luggage for you.
Enjoy the Ride. Guests board state-of-the-art motor coaches that take them to their Disney hotel. On board the bus there is a welcome video that is really cute!
Using Magical Express to Go Home. Once your Disney Vacation is over you get a note on your resort room door letting you know information regarding departure. You should try to go to the airport about 2 hours prior to your flight because of TSA and how busy MCO is.
Magical Express Participating Airlines
Disney’s Magical Express service makes guests’ return to MCO hassle-free as well. This convenient system lets guests flying with participating airlines on domestic flights avoid airport check-in lines by enabling passengers to check their luggage and receive a boarding pass before departing their Disney hotel. Airline partners include Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines.
