One amazing perk of being an on-site guest at the Walt Disney World Resort is Disney’s Magical Express. If you do not live geographically close to Disney and you fly into the Orlando International Airport – Disney’s Magical Express is there waiting to take you to your vacation – no extra fee and no rental cars needed! It is the easiest way to get to Walt Disney World from the Orlando International Airport.
How Disney’s Magical Express Service Works
Book the Magical Express 10 Days Before Arrival. Disney’s Magical Express must be booked at least 10 days prior to arrival through disneyworld.com, Disney Reservation Center by calling 407-W-DISNEY, or a travel agent.
Check Your Tagged Luggage In. Guests check their specially tagged luggage at their departure airport. Disney will send you special tags for you to put on your luggage.
Skip Luggage Claim. Upon arrival in Orlando, guests bypass airport baggage claim and go directly to the Disney Airport Welcome Center. Disney takes care of gathering your luggage for you.
Enjoy the Ride. Guests board state-of-the-art motor coaches that take them to their Disney hotel. On board the bus there is a welcome video that is really cute!
Magical Express Participating Airlines
Disney’s Magical Express service makes guests’ return to MCO hassle-free as well. This convenient system lets guests flying with participating airlines on domestic flights avoid airport check-in lines by enabling passengers to check their luggage and receive a boarding pass before departing their Disney hotel. Airline partners include Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines.
Magical Express Information and Tips
Magical Express Resorts. Disney’s Magical Express is available to all Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels with the exception of the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel, Shades of Green, and the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels.
Where Can the Magical Express take You? The Magical Express can only take you to the resort you have a reservation at. The Magical Express cannot take you directly to a park or another resort so keep that in mind while making dining and entertainment reservations.
Does the Magical Express work at Other Airports? Disney’s Magical Express only provides service to Orlando International Airport (MCO). It does not provide service to the Sanford airport or Tampa.
