One of the great things to do at Disney is to trade pins and Vinylmations! I am really into pin trading even after getting 90% of my pins stolen from me while at Disney. Another thing I would love to get into is Disney Vinylmation trading!
Disney Vinylmation trading is a fun thing to do while you are on vacation at Walt Disney World! You can also trade vinylmations online on several websites and Facebook groups. A Disney Vinylmation is a Mickey figurine painted with a design to represent whatever the artist would like to represent. Some are about characters, holidays, movies, eras, or just really cool designs.
There are two main ways to trade vinylmations with Cast Members. Most trading locations have both a Mystery Trading Box and an Open Trading Box. Mystery Trading is a game of luck. You pick a number and the Cast Member shows you what’s behind the door. You get 2 tries to get what you want. After the 2nd try you can also choose one of the open box vinylmations. Open Trading Boxes are just what they sound like. You can see exactly what you are trading for with these. This is not as fun, but you are able to see what you are getting. The normal Open Box fits 3 Vinylmations. Unlike pin trading, vinylmation trading locations are few. In Downtown Disney they trade at the Pin Hut and D-Street. I am not sure of the locations at the parks, but I think it is just 1-2 places per park. I don’t think any of the resorts do vinylmation trading anymore.

I have teamed up with a couple other mommy bloggers and/ or Disney bloggers to have a giveaway for 5 Disney Vinlymations figurines. This prize was originally meant to celebrate Coupon Friendly’s 2nd Blog Birthday, but nobody claimed their prize.
(Disclaimer: Winners will be notified via e-mail and will have 48 hours to claim their prize or another winner will be selected to take their place.)
