Disney’s Contemporary Resort has quite a few fun and tasty options for dining along the monorail. From a quick service with a monorail view to the most famous character meal on property, dining at the Contemporary is a must-do. Here is my Contemporary Resort Dining Guide.
One of two Disney resort hotels that opened with Magic Kingdom in 1971, Disney’s Contemporary Resort was built on a 55-acre site adjacent to Magic Kingdom. Living up to its modern style, the hotel was constructed by methods that were ahead of their time.
If you want to enjoy a lot of the Disney dining options, I suggest getting the Disney Dining Plan.
Getting to the Contemporary Resort is easy. You can get there by taking a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then taking the monorail or a boat to the resort. You can also just walk to the resort by using the walkway, it is maybe a 5-10 minute walk.
