Christmas Bucket List for Floridians

Thank you for sharing!

Do you ever feel like there is just not enough time during the Christmas season to do everything you want? I feel that way quite often. Between family functions, church events, and shopping my schedule fills up quite fast and I rarely get time to experience the quiet, beautiful moments of the Christmas season. Here are some of the simple, fun things I have on my Christmas Bucket List.

Christmas Bucket List

Christmas Bucket List

This Christmas Bucket list doesn’t involve any snow-filled activities because I am in Florida. I was raised in Michigan and love the snow. This list is my desire to experience Christmas to the fullest even if it is 80 degrees!

Have a Christmas Movie Marathon date night with my husband watching our favorites like National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Charlie Brown Christmas, and more! Plus, you have to enjoy some hot chocolate and homemade baked goods. Check out my list of 25 Disney Christmas Movies you will love!

Go see Christmas lights. I love looking around town at the Christmas lights, especially Light-O-Rama displays. If I really like a house, I make a note of it in the Google Maps app and the following year I revisit to see if they do lights again.

Bake cookies for my neighbors. A family friend moved in next door and she has requested some of my snickerdoodle cookies and we have a brand new family on the other side of us.

Make Christmas Cards. I say this almost every year, but I really do want to make Christmas cards. I have most of the items needed and love getting crafty.

Decorate my home to the fullest. I love Christmas time and all the decor. Last Christmas we were gone so much that I really didn’t have the chance to do much decorating. We didn’t even put up a tree. I am hoping this year is much more relaxed.

Go see a live Nativity. A couple different places around me have one, so hopefully, I will able to go.

Give a toy to someone in need. I will probably donate it either through Toys for Tots or through my church.

Give myself a Christmas manicure. Paint my nails some pretty Christmas colors or designs.

If I lived up north where it snows, I would probably have a few other items but you can’t build a snowman in Florida. I created a Printable Christmas Bucket List of all these items so you can put it up on your fridge or bulletin board.

What is on your Christmas Bucket list?
