This hotel is one of my favorite places to stay! I think I have stayed at this hotel at least 5 times. The best thing about this hotel is its’ location to the Disney property. It is so close. It takes about 5 minutes to get from the parks to this hotel. This hotel is located right next to a highway but you can’t hear it at all inside the rooms.
This hotel is older and does need some remodeling, especially in the bathrooms, but we are pleased overall with this hotel because of the location. The beds are more on the firm side. The air conditioning works great compared to Westgate Towers, Actually that becomes a point of contention between my husband and myself. He likes it freezing and I prefer not to be an icicle. The pillows are nice and fluffy. The only thing I do not like is that the beds do not come with full comforters, but I know the trend now is to do away with those.
The bathroom vanity area is so pretty and large. More than one person can get ready at one time.
The bathroom is your normal bathroom and very clean. Nothing too grand about it. The one in the room we stayed in appeared to have some past water damage. It also looked repaired properly and in good working order.
One of the biggest draws for this hotel for me is the mni kitchen. On this trip we didn’t need it as much since we were going to eat food at the food and wine festival at Epcot, but I still like to have breakfast in the room. The area also comes with a small coffee pot. The fridge is the perfect size for a small trip.
My husband likes to get the free continental breakfast they offer. I prefer staying in my pajamas for breakfast. They have your traditional continental breakfast offerings. My husband noted that this time they also offered scrambled eggs and sausage links. He brought me up some of that to try. I thought it was pretty good. They also have cereal selections.
This was our first time using the pool in all the times we have stayed here. The pool was very clean. They do have two berry trees near the pool area so you have to be careful in those areas to not step there and get your feet messy. I do not believe the poolside bar is functional as we were swimming around 6 or 7pm on a Saturday and it was closed.
Now when it comes to price, I don’t know the actual price. I always book this hotel through Hotwire. I think I paid around $47.00 after all the taxes and fees. There is around a $5/day resort fee you pay around checkout. I look for a hotel in the Celebration area that has a 70% or more approval rating (you can’t please everyone) and that has a free breakfast and a small resort fee.
