10 Things I Love about Walt Disney World

Thank you for sharing!

I love Disney! I am a little obsessed actually. I find that a lot of people do not get my obsession. I like going to other travel destinations, but nothing beats a trip to Disney. Here are my Top 10 Things I Love about Walt Disney World!10 Things I Love about Walt Disney World

  1. Disney gives you a lot of magic for FREE. Before my husband and I got our passes, we went to Disney and didn’t spend any money at all. We explored Downtown Disney, resort hopped, and even watched Wishes from the Ticket & Transportation center.
  2. Disney doesn’t discriminate based on age. I can stand in line for Anna and Elsa as a 30-something lady and cast members don’t blink an eye.  Dumbo, Tea Cups, and other “child-like” rides are made with grownups in mind too.
  3. Disney doesn’t discriminate based on size. I am a plus size, tall girl. I fit pretty comfortably on almost every ride.
  4. Disney pays attention to detail. Look closely the next time you are at Disney. Do notice all the small details they put into everything to make the theme of the land, ride, or even aerial pictures?
  5. Disney makes you feel like you are the only person that matters. Now I really don’t know how they do this but every trip I feel like I am the only person that matters to the Cast Members. I have had special dances with Goofy, actually Goofy and I have a thing. He hugs me or blows me kisses every Festival of Fantasy parade, lol. I know they give this attention to everyone, but is pretty awesome that can give everyone in the park that feeling. Wear a celebration button and you feel like the World is yours!
  6. Disney immerses you in another world. Once you enter a park or resort, you are in another world. It seems like the “real” world and its’ problems just melt away. With Disney taking care of every detail, the only worry you have is which set of Mickey ears to wear to the park.
  7. Disney goes over the top for holidays. If you have never spent Halloween, Christmas, Easter, 4th of July, Valentine’s Day, or New Year’s Eve at Disney you are missing out! Yes, the parks are a bit crowded- but there is a reason they are crowded. Everyone knows these are the best days to experience Disney. My all time favorite is New Years Eve. Fireworks light up the ENTIRE park.
  8. Disney has amazing food and dining experiences. From Dole Whips to Artist’s Point you are sure to find some delectable dish to take part in.  The character dining experiences are great as you get to have one on one time with your favorite characters. Out the restaurants I have enjoyed so far, Boma is my favorite.
  9. Disney is always changing. Things are always moving forward as Walt would have wanted. While some people might disagree I think the changes like Fastpass+, Disney Springs, and Avatarland are changing things for the better. Rides change and  Disney World evolves. Each time you go it is a different experience
  10. Disney recreates belief in people. Disney lets us believe in fairy tales again. Belief is a very important thing, and everyday life can make you forget. When you are at Walt Disney World, you see Tinker Bell light the fireworks, Elsa light the sky, and Maleficent get defeated by belief in dreams. The stories that Disney retells in its” parks teach that hope, hard work, and perseverance makes dream come true. Disney lets us believe that something bigger is out there, which in turn causes me to hold onto my faith in God even more.
